Free-agent guard Brad Wanamaker has agreed to a one-year, $2.25 million deal to join the Golden State Warriors, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
A prototypical backup guard, Wanamaker played well with a bit of a larger role this season as part of the Boston Celtics, most notably having a strong series against the Toronto Raptors in the second round of the playoffs.
Now, he’ll get the opportunity to fill a similar spot for the Warriors, who are looking to make some noise in the highly competitive Western Conference next year (despite Klay Thompson‘s torn Achilles) after spending 2019-20 riddled with injuries.
