The Milwaukee Bucks are moving on to Round 2 of the NBA playoffs, but all-star forward Khris Middleton is seemingly still a long way off from returning to the court.

Shams Charania reports that the team expects Middleton's Grade 2 MCL sprain will keep him out of the entire second round and his status for the Eastern Conference Finals is also "in jeopardy."

Middleton left Game 2 against the Chicago Bulls with the injury and didn't play in the remainder of that series. The Bucks eliminated the Bulls with a win in Game 5 Wednesday and will face the Boston Celtics in the next round.

The 30-year-old averaged 20.1 points, 5.4 rebounds and 5.4 assists during the season.

"Obviously Khris is one of the best players on the team," Giannis Antetokounmpo said. "If he’s not able to be with us, it going to be a tremendous loss for us."
