A pair of former lottery picks are on the move.
The Chicago Bulls are trading guard Rob Dillingham to the Charlotte Hornets for guard Buddy Hield and cash, according to a report from ESPN's Shams Charania on Saturday.
Dillingham, 21, was the eighth-overall pick in the 2024 draft by the San Antonio Spurs before a draft-day trade sent him to the Minnesota Timberwolves.
He spent the first year-and-a-half of his career with the Timberwolves beofre landing with the Bulls ahead of last season's trade deadline.
Over 65 games between his two stops in 2025-26, Dillingham averaged 6.3 points and 2.2 assists on 39.6 per cent shooting from the field.
Hield, meanwhile, is re-routed from Charlotte to Chicago after being included in a Hornets-Atlanta Hawks swap on Tuesday.
Hield split his 2025-26 campaign between Atlanta and the Golden State Warriors after being packaged with Jonathan Kuminga in a trade for Kristaps Porzingis.
