Cam Thomas has found his new NBA home.
After being waived and released by the Brooklyn Nets earlier this week, Thomas agreed to a deal with the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday, according to ESPN's Shams Charania.
Thomas, 24, was averaging 15.6 points, 1.8 rebounds and 3.1 assists over 24 games with the Nets on suboptimal 39.9 per cent shooting from the floor and 32.5 per cent shooting from deep.
However, the six-foot-three guard scored 22.9 points per game on 44 per cent shooting over the previous two seasons.
Thomas was on a one-year, $6-million contract in Brooklyn.
He will now join a Bucks team looking to climb the Eastern Conference standings after choosing to keep star forward Giannis Antetokounmpo at the trade deadline. Milwaukee currently sits 12th in the East with a 21-29 record.
