Terms of the contract were not disclosed, per team policy. Shams Charania of The Athletic reports it’s a two-year deal.
In a corresponding move, the Celtics waived Moe Wagner to open a roster spot.
Parker, 26, has already played on five NBA teams — four in the last three seasons.
The six-foot-eight forward averaged 2.7 points per game in three games with the Sacramento Kings this season before being waived in March. Through seven NBA seasons, he’s posting career averages of 14.8 points, 5.7 rebounds and 2.1 assists.
