The Los Angeles Clippers are reportedly signing DeMarcus Cousins to a 10-day contract, pending the clearance of health-and-safety protocols, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
After being released by the Houston Rockets earlier this season, Cousins, a four-time all-star, was a free agent.
Charania had previously reported that Cousins and the Clippers were nearing a deal, and that the centre was in Los Angeles to begin the league's testing protocols.
Cousins struggled on the court this season, his first since returning from an ACL injury which sidelined him for all of 2019-20. The 30-year-old averaged 9.6 points and 7.6 rebounds in 20.2 minutes across 25 appearances, 11 of them starts, for the Rockets this season.
