Free-agent forward Danilo Gallinari has agreed to a two-year, $13.5-million contract with the Boston Celtics, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reports.
Gallinari's contract includes a player option on the second year and is fully guaranteed, Wojnarowski adds.
The 33-year-old was traded from the Hawks to the Spurs this off-season as part of the Dejounte Murray trade and was waived by San Antonio shortly after. He joins a Boston team coming off an appearance in the NBA Finals, and will suit up alongside guard Malcolm Brogdon, who was acquired in a trade with the Pacers.
Gallinari averaged 11.7 points on 38 per cent shooting from three last season and has averaged 15.6 points over his 13-year career.
