The Memphis Grizzlies have retained a promising young forward.
Santi Aldama has agreed to a three-year, $52.5-million contract to stay in Memphis, ESPN's Shams Charania reported Monday.
The Grizzlies also agreed to a two-year, $4.5-million fully guaranteed contract with guard Cam Spencer on Monday, per Charania.
Aldama averaged 12.5 points, 6.4 rebounds and 2.9 assists last season while shooting 36.8 per cent from three – all career highs.
The 24-year-old averaged 12.6 points off the bench in 2024-25, sixth best among players that came off the bench in 40 or more games.
The Las Palmas, Spain native was drafted in the first round, 30th overall by the Utah Jazz in the 2021 NBA Draft and his rights were traded to the Grizzlies shortly after.
Aldama has spent his entire four-season career in Memphis thus far.
Spencer, 25, averaged 4.2 points in 25 games during his rookie year with the Grizzlies last season.
