One of the top free-agent guards is off the market.
Ty Jerome has agreed to a three-year, $28 million deal with the Memphis Grizzlies, including a third-year player option, ESPN's Shams Charania reported Monday.
The 27-year-old had a career-best scoring season, averaging 12.5 points on 51.6 per cent shooting from the floor and 43.9 per cent from three, all career highs.
Jerome provided offensive punch in his 19.9 minutes per game off the bench for the Eastern Conference No. 1 seed Cleveland Cavaliers. He was a finalist for the Sixth Man of the Year Award, losing to Boston Celtics guard Payton Pritchard.
The six-foot-five combo guard was also among the NBA's most proficient pick-and-roll operators and stands to run the Grizzlies' second-unit offence behind star guard Ja Morant.
