One of the Toronto Raptors’ centre targets is off the board.
Harry Giles has agreed to a one-year contract with the Portland Trail Blazers, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Giles spent his first two NBA seasons with the Sacramento Kings, logging just over 14 minutes per game. He averaged 6.9 points and 4.1 rebounds in 2019-20.
The 22-year-old was the 20th-overall pick in the 2017 draft. He was the No. 1 college recruit in the U.S. at one point but tore his ACL during his senior year of high school, derailing his development.
