The Oklahoma City Thunder are keeping one of their defensive anchors in the mix.
Centre Isaiah Hartenstein intends to sign a new three-year, $75-million contract with the Thunder, according to ESPN's Shams Charania.
Hartenstein had a $28.5-millon team option for 2026-27, which Oklahoma City will decline in favour of the new deal.
The 28-year-old big man averaged 9.2 points, 9.4 rebounds and 3.5 assists while shooting 62.2 per cent from the field in 47 regular-season games for the Thunder last season.
In the post-season, Hartenstein remained a steady presence before Oklahoma City bowed out in the Western Conference Finals against the San Antonio Spurs.
