The Sacramento Kings and free-agent centre Hassan Whiteside have agreed to a one-year contract, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Whiteside, 31, averaged 15.5 points and an NBA-high 2.9 blocks last season with the Portland Trail Blazers. The two-time block champion had played his previous five seasons with the Miami Heat — but he started with the Kings, who picked him 33rd overall in the 2010 NBA Draft.
The financial terms of Whiteside's reported deal have yet to surface. He earned a $27.093 million salary in the 2019-20 season.
