The Utah Jazz are trading small forward Royce O'Neale to the Brooklyn Nets according to multiple reports.

In return, the Jazz will reportedly receive a 2023 first-round pick.

The news comes just moments after ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski and The Athletic's Shams Charania reported that Kevin Durant request a trade on Thursday.

O'Neale, 29, has spent his entire five-year career with the Jazz. Last season he set a career-high with 7.8 points in 77 games as a starter.

Earlier this week the Jazz hired Boston Celtics assistant Will Hardy to be the club's next head coach. The team has made the playoffs in each of the past six seasons but has yet to get past the second round, prompting some speculation that the team could undergo some major changes this off-season.
