Another Sacramento King is done for the year.
De'Andre Hunter is set to undergo season-ending eye surgery, NBA insiders Chris Haynes and Marc Stein reported on Friday.
Hunter is the third Kings player to be shut down for the campaign in the past week.
Zach LaVine has been ruled out due to hand surgery, and Domantas Sabonis requires knee surgery.
Hunter was acquired by the Kings from the Cavaliers in a three-team deal that sent Dennis Schroder and Keon Ellis to Cleveland. He appeared in just two games with Sacramento before suffering the eye injury on Feb. 6 against the Los Angeles Clippers.
The 28-year-old is averaging 14 points, 2.1 assists and 4.2 rebounds through 43 games this season.
The Kings are in full tank mode this year, sitting last in the NBA with a 12-45 record. They are currently in the midst of a franchise-record 15-game losing streak.
