The New York Knicks' bid to acquire Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell continues.
The Knicks have been rumoured to acquire the Elmsford, N.Y. native all through the off-season. New York has now doubled down and offered the Jazz a new trade package, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Charania, along with fellow Athletic reporter Tony Jones, reported that the recent offer included Evan Fournier, Obi Toppin, additional salary and two unprotected first-round picks.
Five total picks would be also be part of the package. The Jazz's asking price, Charania and Jones say, is higher than that.
Mitchell has spent all five seasons of his NBA career with the Jazz. The three-time All-Star averaged 25.9 points, 4.2 rebounds and 5.3 assists per game in Utah last season.
