"DLo" is heading to Dallas.
The Mavericks are reportedly signing D'Angelo Russell to a two-year, $13 million deal per ESPN's Shams Charania on Monday. The deal has a player option for the second season.
Russell, 29, is coming off a 58-game season split between the Los Angeles Lakers and Brooklyn Nets in which he averaged 12.6 points and 5.1 assists.
The veteran guard will fill in as the Mavericks' lead guard while Kyrie Irving recovers from an ACL injury that occurred late last season.
Russell will have plenty of passing options in Dallas, as he'll now get to play alongside the likes of Klay Thompson, Anthony Davis, Dereck Lively II and recently selected No. 1 overall pick Cooper Flagg.
The "win now" Mavericks, as GM Nico Harrison described after shocking trading away Luka Doncic for Davis, went 39-43 last season after a smattering of injuries and were ultimately eliminated in the Play-In.
