The NBA has locked in Nov. 18 as the definitive date for the 2020 Draft, the league announced Wednesday.
Prior to this point, the date had been tentative, and before that had been proposed for Oct. 16. The league also said the date remains subject to change as circumstances warrant.
Pushing back the date to November allows for pre-draft prep and a combine, as well as more time to gather information for a start date on the 2021 season and talks with the NBPA on CBA issues.
