As the Brooklyn Nets get set for a potential long playoff run, star guard James Harden is reportedly nearing a return to the lineup.
According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski and Malika Andrews, Harden will be a game-time decision Wednesday against the Spurs as the Nets return to Brooklyn after a five-game road trip.
Harden has missed five weeks with a hamstring injury, which included a setback in mid-April. According to Wojnarowski and Andrews, Harden has been with the team on its road trip and ramping up his work in practice with the intention to play before the post-season begins. After the Spurs game the Nets close the season with a pair of weekend home games against the Bulls and Cavaliers.
Since Harden was acquired in a January blockbuster with the Houston Rockets, he has only appeared in seven games with fellow stars Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant. While Durant is currently healthy, Irving was injured in Tuesday's win over the Bulls after taking an elbow to the face from Nikola Vucevic. After the game, head coach Steve Nash confirmed Irving didn't have a concussion, but it was later announced that he would miss Wednesday's game against San Antonio.
