The Brooklyn Nets are adding some backcourt depth.
Free agent guard Keon Ellis is signing with the Brooklyn Nets on a two-year, $18-million contract, ESPN's Shams Charania reported Tuesday.
Ellis spent last season split between the Sacramento Kings and Cleveland Cavaliers, averaging 6.7 points on 44 per cent shooting from the floor and 36.3 per cent from three-point range in 72 games played total.
He joined the Cavaliers as part of a three-team deal that also involved the Chicago Bulls.
The 26-year-old had spent his entire career with the Kings before being dealt to Cleveland.
