Nikola Jokic is set to sign a $260-million supermax contract extension with the Denver Nuggets this off-season, Shams Charania of The Athletic reported on Friday.

The 27-year-old reiterated his long-term commitment to the Nuggets this week, to the point where Jokic plans to sign the five-year, $260-million supermax offer in July.

Jokic, who was named NBA MVP this season, averaged a career-high 27.1 points and 13.8 rebounds to go with 7.8 assists in 74 games with the Nuggets in 2021-22.
