Shooting guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope has agreed to a two-year, $30-million extension with the Denver Nuggets, sources tell ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Caldwell-Pope was acquired by Denver in a trade that saw Monte Morris and Will Barton join the Washington Wizards.
Shooting 38 per cent from beyond the arc in the last five seasons combined, Caldwell-Pope will look to add to the Nuggets' three-point efficiency as the team finished 2021-22 at a 35.3 per cent clip.
The 29-year-old averaged in 13.2 points and 3.4 rebounds in 77 appearances during the 2021-22 season.
Caldwell-Pope has registered 11.6 points and 3.1 rebounds per game in his nine-year NBA career.
