Denver continued to surround three-time MVP Nikola Jokic with firepower this off-season.
Tim Hardaway Jr. has reportedly agreed to a one-year contract with the Denver Nuggets, per ESPN’s Shams Charania.
The six-foot-five guard was traded to the Detroit Pistons last summer and started a career-high 77 games, averaging 11.0 points on 48.4 per cent shooting from the field and 36.8 per cent from three.
Hardaway Jr. brings playoff experience to a Nuggets team coming off a gruelling seven-game series against the eventual champion Oklahoma City Thunder. Last season, Hardaway Jr. made a career-high seven threes during a playoff game in the Pistons first-round series against the New York Knicks.
The Nuggets have been active this summer, recently adding former Raptors Bruce Brown Jr. and Jonas Valanciunas, and trading Michael Porter Jr. to the Brooklyn Nets for Cameron Johnson.
