New Orleans Pelicans guard CJ McCollum is expected to make his return to the lineup on Wednesday against the Philadelphia 76ers as reported by ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
McCollum has been out since Nov. 4 after he suffered a small lung collapse. The team has yet to officially announce his return to the lineup but has upgraded him to probable ahead of the matchup with the 76ers.
The Pelicans have played 12 games in the guard's absence and have gone 5-7 over that span.
In the six games that McCollum did play before the injury, he averaged 21.7 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 5.7 assists.
New Orleans has remained competitive without the 11-year veteran, holding an even 9-9 record overall but will gladly welcome him back to pair alongside Brandon Ingram and Zion Williamson. The trio of 20-point-per-game scorers have only played three games together this year.
