The Detroit Pistons are looking to trade guard Derrick Rose, according to Shams Charania and James L. Edwards of The Athletic.

Rose and the Pistons "mutually agreed" a trade would be best for both sides as Detroit is mired in another disappointing season.

The New York Knicks are among the interested teams, with Vincent Goodwill of Yahoo Sports reporting a deal is close.

The former MVP is enjoying a strong campaign, averaging 14.2 points, 4.2 assists and 1.9 assists.
