The Toronto Raptors are keeping one of last year's rookies around a little longer.
Guard Alijah Martin has agreed to a two-year, $4.8-million deal to return to the Raptors, ESPN's Shams Charania reported Wednesday.
Martin, 24, was the 39th-overall pick by the Raptors in 2025 after a productive collegiate career, where he won the national championship with Florida in his final season.
According to Sportsnet's Blake Murphy, the second year of Martin's new deal is partially guaranteed.
A two-way player in his rookie season, Martin averaged 2.2 points, 0.9 rebounds and 0.5 assists in 23 games at the NBA level.
He averaged 18.5 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.4 steals while shooting 39.2 per cent from beyond the arc through 30 G League appearances with the Raptors 905.
Martin was selected to the All-NBA G League Rookie Team, All-NBA G League Defensive Team and the All-NBA G League third team.
