Report: Raptors signing Joe Wieskamp to 10-day contract

The Toronto Raptors are signing G League forward Joe Wieskamp to a 10-day contract, his agents confirmed to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

The former San Antonio Spurs second-round pick from the 2021 NBA Draft has played in 11 games with the Wisconsin Herd averaging 17 points, 5.9 rebounds and is shooting 41 per cent on 6.3 3-point attempts.

Wieskamp has basically delivered as advertised in 28 G League games, A good volume of 3s at a good percentage, strong offensive rebounding, not great defense but enough steal/block activity to be a non-zero. Shot poorly in NBA shot with Spurs but smaller sample.

Wieskamp played 29 games with the Spurs last season where he averaged seven minutes a game and also appeared in 13 games in the G League with the Austin Spurs averaging 13.4 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.6 assists.
