The Houston Rockets continue to load up ahead of the 2025-26 season.
Forward Dorian Finney-Smith has reportedly agreed to a four-year, $53 million with the team, per ESPN's Shams Charania on Monday.
The 32-year-old is a career 41.1 per cent three-point shooter and averaged two long-distance makes per game last season between the Brooklyn Nets and the Los Angeles Lakers, who traded for him in December.
Finney-Smith averaged 8.7 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.4 assists through 63 games in 2024-25. He was also a stout defender, holding opponents to a 47.5 defended field goal percentage.
The nine-year NBA vet entered unrestricted free agency after turning down a $15.4 million player option for the 2025-26 season to remain with the Lakers.
He now joins a Rockets team that appears ready to go all-in to compete in a loaded Western Conference. Last year's No. 2 seed has already re-signed Fred VanVleet, Steven Adams and Jabari Smith Jr., and traded for Kevin Durant, all before the addition of Finney-Smith.
