Houston Rockets star Russell Westbrook is expected to return to action for Game 5 of his team’s first-round series against the Oklahoma City Thunder, according to The Athletic‘s Kelly Iko.
Westbrook, who has been out because of a strained right quad muscle, will face his former team Saturday after having last played on Aug. 11 in a seeding game against the San Antonio Spurs.
The 31-year-old has averaged 27.2 points per game, 7.9 rebounds and seven assists in 57 contests for Houston this season, his first as a member of the Rockets.
