The Miami Heat are adding some shooting.
Tim Hardaway Jr. has agreed to a one-year, $6.5 million deal with the Heat, ESPN's Shams Charania reported on Tuesday.
Hardaway Jr. spent last season with the Denver Nuggets. He averaged 13.5 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.4 assists on 44.7 per cent shooting from the field and 40.7 per cent from three.
The 34-year-old finished third in Sixth Man of the Year voting.
Hardaway Jr. will provide floor spacing for the new-look Heat with superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo. He is a career 36.5 per cent shooter from deep.
The second-generation guard is the second Heat signing in the past two days, after they locked up Andrew Wiggins for three years on Monday.
