The Los Angeles Lakers are reported to have reached an agreement with free agent forward Juan Toscano-Anderson, per Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports.
Toscano-Anderson, who won the NBA championship for the Golden State Warriors last season, played 73 games for the team during the 2021-2022 campaign, averaging 4.1 points and 2.4 rebounds per game.
The undrafted 29-year-old spent three seasons with the Warriors. He became an unrestricted free agent following the team's decision to not extend a qualifying offer of $2.1 million.
Toscano-Anderson was the first player of Mexican descent to win a NBA title in league history. Earlier in the year, he was also the first Mexican-American player to participate in the NBA All-Star Slam Dunk Contest.
