The Nuggets have added a veteran point guard to their roster.
Free agent guard Tyus Jones has agreed to sign with the Denver Nuggets, per Shams Charania of ESPN.
Jones, 29, began the 2025-26 season with Orlando after signing a one-year deal with the Magic.
He would subsequently be traded twice over the span of two days on Feb. 4 and 5, first to the Charlotte Hornets then to the Dallas Mavericks. He was then shortly waived by the Mavericks on Feb. 28 to make room to sign Canadian guard Ryan Nembhard.
Over the span of 56 games split between the Magic and Mavericks this season, Jones has averaged 3.1 points and 2.6 assists per game on 34.9 per cent shooting from the field.
He joins a Nuggets team that sits fifth in the Western Conference with a 37-24 record.
