Golden State Warriors star Klay Thompson suffered an apparent lower leg injury on Wednesday and is undergoing tests to determine its severity, according to The Athletic‘s Shams Charania.
The 30-year-old was reportedly unable to place weight on his leg when leaving the gym, Charania reports.
ESPN‘s Adrian Wojnarowski reports that Thompson suffered the injury to his right leg during a workout in Southern California.
Thompson missed the 2019-20 season with a torn ACL in his left knee. Before his injury, the Warriors star averaged 34 minutes, 21.5 points and a 46.7 field goal percentage.
