Memphis Grizzlies star point guard Ja Morant will return to the starting lineup for the team's pivotal Game 3 against the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday, the team announced.
Morant injured his right hand in Game 1 on an awkward fall and did not suit up for Game 2.
Morant was a true game-time decision for Game 3 in Los Angeles, but his return will be a big boost for the second-seeded Grizzlies who are looking to reclaim home-court advantage.
LeBron James and the Lakers grabbed the win in Game 1, while the Grizzlies battled back without Morant in Game 2 to even up the series at one game apiece.
The point guard set a franchise scoring record after he averaged 26.2 points per game this season.
