The Houston Rockets will get a major boost on Tuesday as they look to even their first-round series with the Los Angeles Lakers.
Forward Kevin Durant was upgraded to active by the Rockets ahead of tip-off for Game 2.
Durant missed Game 1 with a bruised right knee.
The fifth-leading scorer in NBA history collided with a teammate during practice last Wednesday, and he was added to the Rockets’ injury report on Friday. He led the Rockets with 26 points per game this season, his first in Houston.
Without Durant in the lineup, Houston was unable to pick up the slack and ultimately fell 107-98.
