The Oklahoma City Thunder's bench is getting a massive boost on Monday.
Ajay Mitchell will return from a 20-game absence against the Denver Nuggets.
The guard was sidelined with ankle and abdominal injuries. He last played on Jan. 21 against the Milwaukee Bucks.
Before going down, Mitchell was one of the best reserves in the NBA and was in contention for Sixth Man of the Year honours.
Mitchell's averaging career highs across the board with 14.1 points, 3.5 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.4 steals in 43 games.
The sophomore should create a tandem on the Thunder's bench with Jared McCain, who was acquired in early February.
