Timberwolves' Karl-Anthony Towns ruled out vs. Nets

Minnesota Timberwolves centre Karl-Anthony Towns (tailbone contusion) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Brooklyn Nets.

Towns took a hard fall after completing a dunk late in Wednesday's contest against the Washington Wizards.

The two-time all-star is averaging 24 points, nine rebounds and 3.1 assists in 22 games played this season.
