Toronto Raptors guard Gary Trent Jr. is no longer available for Friday's game against the Oklahoma City Thunder due to lower back stiffness.
Trent Jr. tweaked his back against the New Orleans Pelicans on Feb. 5 but returned to the lineup the following game. He also missed two games earlier this month because of a right groin strain.
The 25-year-old is averaging 12.8 points and shooting 40.8 per cent from three-point range over 62 games this season.
With the absence of Toronto's starting two-guard, the Raptors will be without any of their usual starting five (Immanuel Quickley, RJ Barrett, Trent Jr., Scottie Barnes, and Jakob Poeltl).
He was originally listed as questionable heading into the contest but was downgraded to out, pre-game. Trent Jr. will be evaluated post-game in order for the Raptors to determine his availability for their trip to Washington.
Watch the Raptors host Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Oklahoma City Thunder live on Sportsnet ONE and Sportsnet+ starting at 7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT.
