Portland Trail Blazers forward Zach Collins has undergone surgery to repair a left medial malleolus stress fracture in his ankle and will be out indefinitely, the team announced Wednesday.
Collins, who previously underwent ankle surgery on Sept. 1, has not played since Portland’s win over the Brooklyn Nets on Aug. 13 in the bubble at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Fla.
The 23-year-old appeared in 11 games for the Trail Blazers last season, averaging seven points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.5 assists on 47.1 per cent shooting from the field.
