Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry will not play in Friday night’s game against the Toronto Raptors due to a tailbone injury.
Curry joins a handful of Raptors who will also miss the game, including Kyle Lowry. Golden State’s Draymond Green (left finger sprain) and Jordan Poole (left ankle sprain) are listed as probable.
Curry recently missed five games as a result of a bruised tailbone, returning to action on March 29. In the two games since his return, the two-time MVP has scored 32 and 36 points, respectively, in a win over the Chicago Bulls and a loss to the Miami Heat on Thursday night.
The Warriors (23-25) are 10th in the Western Conference entering Friday’s game in Tampa, while the Raptors (18-30) sit 11th in the East – two games back of 10th-place Chicago. The game tips off at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT on Sportsnet ONE.
