Brooklyn Nets‘ superstar Kevin Durant will not be playing against the Houston Rockets Wednesday night.

He along with teammate LaMarcus Aldridge have officially been ruled out for rest.

Durant is averaging 28.4 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 5.4 assists per game.

The Nets, who defeated the Mavericks 102-99 Tuesday, are atop the East with a record of 17-7 as they get set to take on the 7-16 Rockets.

Houston, despite dwelling 13th in the West, have been playing inspired basketball of late. The Rockets own the NBA’s longest active win streak at six in a row.
