The 20-year-old made the announcement two days after he was not selected in the 2020 NBA Draft. Mane’s deal in Orlando is a two-way contract, according to The Athletic‘s Blake Murphy.
The Montreal, Que., native makes history as the first player to make the jump from Quebec’s CEGEP to the NBA without stopping at a U.S. college.

Mane will likely be joining Dwayne Bacon, who has agreed to a two-year deal with the Magic, according to Yahoo’s Vincent Goodwill. Bacon, 25, averaged 5.7 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 39 games with the Charlotte Hornets last season.
