The NBA has fined Philadelphia 76ers president of basketball operations Daryl Morey $75,000 for violating the league’s anti-tampering rule.

The 76ers were also fined $75,000 for Morey’s conduct.

The fine was dealt in response to Morey’s social media post from June 3 regarding Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry. Morey tweeted a screenshot of a photo from Curry’s Instagram account where the Warriors star complimented his brother, Seth Curry, on his performance in the playoffs, with Morey including the caption, “join ’em.”

Morey later followed up his tweet saying he was talking about how the Sixers are “thrilled” to have Seth Curry on their team and “nothing else.”

The 76ers are currently trailing the Atlanta Hawks 1-0 in their second-round series.
