As part of the NBA’s continued celebration of its 75th anniversary, the league unveiled the 15 greatest coaches in its history on Tuesday.

The list includes four active coaches — Steve Kerr, Gregg Popovich, Erik Spoelstra and Doc Rivers.

Lenny Wilkens, who coached the Toronto Raptors from 2000-03, earned the double honour of being named to the NBA’s Top 75 greatest players list and now, the coaches list.

The list also includes current Miami Heat president Pat Riley, who coached the 1980s Los Angeles Lakers, 1990s New York Knicks and the 1990s and 2000s Heat, as well as 11-time NBA champion Phil Jackson.

Don Nelson leads the NBA’s all-time wins list with 1,335, just six ahead of Popovich’s 1,329.

This list was selected by 43 active and former NBA coaches.
