Raptors injury report: Updates on Porter, Young and Birch

At Toronto Raptors training camp on Friday, head coach Nick Nurse had a few injury updates.

Free-agent signing Otto Porter Jr. will be out a “little bit” Nurse said.

Veteran forward Thad Young is day-to-day with a knee injury.

Centre Khem Birch, who had knee surgery this off-season, was held out of the Raptors’ scrimmage Friday for precautionary reasons.

Rookie Christian Koloko hit his nose in the scrimmage, but Nurse said he was fine.

The Raptors finish training camp on Saturday, before opening pre-season against the Utah Jazz in Edmonton on Sunday.
