Toronto Raptors guard Kyle Lowry is out for Friday’s game against the Sacramento Kings due to personal reasons, according to the team’s official injury report.

The exact reason for his absence is currently unknown. He is expected to be available for Sunday’s matchup with the Golden State Warriors, per Sportsnet’s Steven Loung.

Through seven games this season, the six-time all-star is averaging 19.4 points, 7.4 assists and 5.1 rebounds per game. Without Lowry available, rookie point guard Malachi Flynn could see an uptick in playing time on Friday.

Toronto has stumbled out of the gate in 2020-21, currently sitting 14th in the Eastern Conference with a 1-6 record.
