Toronto Raptors centre Jakob Poeltl was forced to exit Monday’s game against the Indiana Pacers after suffering a left ankle strain.
The 28-year-old appeared to tweak his ankle during the third quarter and subsequently headed to the locker room.
It is the same ankle that Poeltl hurt earlier this season and caused him to miss 11 games. The Raptors went 2-9 during his absence.
Prior to leaving Monday’s game, Poeltl recorded 15 points, five assists and 11 rebounds.
Over 46 games this season, the Austrian is averaging 11 points, 2.4 assists and 8.6 rebounds.
