Jakob Poeltl has been upgraded to available by the Toronto Raptors ahead of their home tilt with the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday.

The big man was listed as questionable throughout Tuesday as he sustained an ankle injury that took him out of Toronto’s most recent win, against the Indiana Pacers, on Monday.

Poeltl took a spill midway through the third quarter against the Pacers and, after sticking it out for a couple of possessions, he checked out and did not return for the remainder of the contest.

Poeltl has averaged 11.1 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks through 27 minutes a game.

The Raptors are in the midst of a season-best three-game win streak as they take on the Mavericks, who are on the second night of a back-to-back after losing at the buzzer to the Cavaliers.

Toronto’s frontline depth will still be shallow even with their starting centre in the mix as forward Chris Boucher is out due to an illness.
