The Philadelphia 76ers have acquired forward Jalen McDaniels and the Portland Trail Blazers have landed Matisse Thybulle in a three-team trade Thursday with the Charlotte Hornets, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

The full trade, as reported by Wojnarowski:

To Portland: Matisse Thybulle

To Philadelphia: Jalen McDaniels

To Charlotte: Two second-round picks, Svi Mykhailiuk

Thybulle is an excellent perimeter defender with little to offer on offence. The 25-year-old is averaging 2.7 points this season, but nearly a steal per game despite averaging 12 minutes.

The Sixers get in upgrade in shooting by acquiring McDaniels and keep some of the defensive ability. McDaniels, also 25, is averaging 10.6 points this season.

Mykhailiuk played 56 games for the Toronto Raptors last season.
