The Miami Heat are adding even more toughness to their roster, agreeing to a one-year deal Tuesday with free-agent forward Markieff Morris, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

The veteran bruiser’s addition comes just a day after the Heat reportedly added defensive stopper P.J. Tucker and six-time all-star Kyle Lowry to an already imposing lineup led by Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo.

Morris, a 10-year pro and twin brother of Los Angeles Clippers forward Marcus Morris, spent last season with the Los Angeles Lakers, providing steady defence and averaging 6.7 points and 4.4 rebounds on 40.5 per cent shooting from the field and 31.1 per cent from three in 19.7 minutes per game.
