The Toronto Raptors have locked up one of their top free agents.
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports Canadian forward Chris Boucher has signed a three-year, $35.25 million extension with the club.
The move came just after free agency opened on Thursday at 6 p.m. ET.
The six-foot-nine Boucher, from Montreal, averaged 9.4 points and 6.2 rebounds per game last season. In the playoffs, he averaged 11.2 points and 5.8 rebounds in six games.
Boucher originally signed with the Raptors prior to the 2018-19 season after playing one game with the Golden State Warriors the previous year.
The Canadian spent most of his time with Raptors 905 that first year with Toronto and was named G League MVP.
